I'm not quite sure what Tag Force 6 will be about, but I can't help but be curious. If Tag Force 6 does deal with the aftermath of the WRGP and has Jack/Carly hints, perhaps how Jack and Carly's relationship was handled in the show, Post DS arc, is a matter of Corporate Interests after all?

I gotta say, now I'm curious about Tag Force 6. I wonder if it will pick up where Tag Force 5 left off or just jump straight into Zexal? I'm curious since I'm wondering if Tag Force 6 will have any Jack/Carly hints?

I did. Background music reminded me of DM in a few ways. But overall can't say that it was too bad, but I think it will get better.

When do you beat it, could you tell me about how Jack's story ends? I saw this screenshot of Tag Force 5 on bbs. It had a happy Jack (he had a heart) and he was with Carly. I was wondering if that scene came from Carly's story or if it pertains to something that happens to Jack, near the end of the game?

I don't think the special ending is going to be the same as the alternative ending for Tag Force 5. I just think someone was speculating that they might be similar. How far does Tag Force 5 go into the 5Ds' storyline anyway?

Yet, the mention of alternative ending of Tag Force 5 has me curious as to what that ending is about.

Might post here on Janime first and latter on Fanfiction.net. I wrote a fic once and put it up there and got a bad review it really hurt and I got so angry I kinda punched a hole in my bedroom wall. So I'm kinda uneasy about the critics there....

Haha! It's fine really. I kinda almost thought I did Jack wrong. He's so all over the place sometimes but that's what i've always liked about his character.

I'm better. I rested, took a break, and I think I finally realized what bothered me so much about the finale, but I don't think I'll ever like the finale though, no matter how much time passes.

My realization about the finale is that it's the summarization of everything I've hated about 5Ds, post DS arc. With none of the things, I liked about 5Ds, post DS arc.

EDIT: Never mind, I just saw the subs for the Jack leaving scene. It did tug at my heart strings, but not in a good way.

I'm a YGO fanboy and the news that I heard about 4Kids losing Yugioh may make me sorta kinda watch a dub ep but idk. lol. Yeah Jack is weird but this is Shonen genre after, hell Yusei could have at least kissed Aki but whatever lol

I was kinda weirded out about the mid-duel time skip where everyone is doing well for themselves, except we didn't see Yusei in that time skip. Lua and Luca's parents win worst parents of the millenium for leaving their kids in Japan by themselves essentially, while they lived in F-ing London! Really mad about Jack losing to Yusei, I was really hoping that he would beat Yusei and his herp-derp situational cards. But I liked the way the handled the end of this series better than they did with GX. I saw on the forum that someone put up a little comic of when Jack high-fived Yusei, he left him the tab of the Cafe Jack always went to. That made me lol. Carly made me lol by trying to sneak on board the truck in a bag. IDK about Zexal yet but ill watch cuz it is EXTREME!!!1!one!1 as Little Kuriboh suggested.

I mean, I guess the writers couldn't see Jack being with anyone, which makes no sense given his relationship to Carly in the DS arc. But even when we had the running gag of Jack's fan club, Carly always got special attention compared to Mikage and Stephanie.

Really, it's a cop out, especially when we compared how much Jack cared for Carly in the DS arc. As you stated, he was willing to die to be with Carly, yet he abandons her?

Why have them confess at all if the relationship was never going to take off?

I think Jack meant what he said in 59. It's just that a lot of the subplots from the DS arc just died once the third season started.

I don't know why Retributionshipping didn't get any closure. Honestly, it wouldn't taken much. Carly could of just went with him and that would of been enough for me. It kills me because we did some Jack/Carly scenes in the third season and on, but they really meant nothing at all. I just want a reason why. Whether it be Corporate Interests or the writers dropping the ball.

Well, from what I can tell from that scene. I don't that truck or all that stuff was Jack's. I think that something Mikage whipped up for his trip.

But I still don't understand why he couldn't bring Carly with him. Or they could of showed Carly in the 8-year time skip, being with Jack.
