Since apparently, for my constructive criticism, I've been branded as Satan Incarnate, I'd like to offer you a position as one of my arch-devils, since you seem to be one of the proud but few with a brain and a spine to hold it up on this forum :D

No problem. Well, なる is usually the verb "to become", but in the case of "seinaru", I looked it up, and it's some sort of f-adjective (the result had it as a "adj-f"; it has i-adjectives like 楽しい as "i-adj", for example). Not sure what that means, lol. If you want, I can ask my Japanese teacher about it on Monday; I'm kinda curious about it myself now. XD

Hey, what can I say. At least, unlike so many others, you're actually trying- and it's not often I get asked by forumites to review their stuff. So thanks for making my day. :D
    4. ScarletWeather
I have taken a look at it, actually, and I'll probably drop a review. I can say that it was an improvement over your last fanfic, certainly.
    5. Ragna
I, I don't think I can watch 5D's anymore. It's just too awful. Dark Signer arc looks good by comparison. XD

Anyway, wassup. I've been gone for a while, and came back a few days ago.

Pssst. Just noticed your DCC entry, and thought it might be prudent to warn you that you forgot to add synchro materials. Just a heads-up.
    7. AeaChan
      Clicking 'advanced' should still be enough though. You wouldn't be so cruel as to try to rob me of my pretty little butterflies, would you? ;;

Andyeah, I say we let who said what lie once and for all on this card contest topic. Important thing is we both know how things go down now and both know that the other knows, after all.
    8. AeaChan
You seem to have missed the important section of the blog entry entitled
And one last word of warning. That one specifically says that contest theme is an exception. Besides, your theme itself wasn't anime-exclusive in any way; you just used an example card that was. That's a key difference ;D

And feh, it is? Here I thought white on black would be fairly easy on the eyes, much by the same virtue as black on white. Don't you just need to click 'Go advanced' to see the window in default color scheme too? XD

Blah, let's just forgive and forget, Maedar brought out my RAGE mode.

...I was condescending where again? All I did was point out that a mistake was made and lay out the correct procedure for this type of situation so that you wouldn't make that same mistake next time something like that happens. At no point did I imply that making a mistake has any bearing on your value as a human being. Whatever such implications you managed to read into it are purely in your own head, so don't expect me to get all apologetic over them when they were never stated or even implied in the first place.

I didn't think less of you for making my mistake, but I will admit that I do think less of people with egos so frail that they manage to draw insult out of thin air and then lash out at it. Take that as you will.
    11. AeaChan
It was after several people had already seen the original text, however. The result is much the same, and no matter how much poorly played snark you pour on top of that, the fact that you did the whole thing on incorrect, unconfirmed information which you also spread in said thread remains unchanged.

Just something to keep in mind, oh-so lowly contest host. u_u
    12. AeaChan
A moment of your time, hun? It's about this bit you posted in the contest thread...

"Yeah, sorry, it was because I found out you can't use those kinds of cards for contests, but this one SHOULD be more challenging, so do your best."

I'd like to know where you got this from, seeing as how there is nothing of that sort in the contest rules, nor has anything like that ever been ruled by either judge. Changing themes in mid-contest is more than just a little confusing, and I can't say I'm too wild about you spreading faulty information about while doing so. :\

Look, if you're uncertain about how these things work, ask us. That's part of what judges do.

I'm not saying 'change it back'. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and say 'don't do anything more to it at all whatsoever'. Just...keep that in mind for the future?

thanx mate for agreeing with me ^_^

Oooh, the MSG Borders! I stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania a couple of years ago for a week and spent half my vacation hanging out in Borders, reading manga -_- Sure sign of a geek: when you're not on Broadway, you're in the bookstore.

RE volumes you can't find: Borders has a very cool policy where you go up to the front desk and say "hey, I looked ALL OVER the manga section, and you don't have this book. Can I order it?" And they'll go "hey, yeah, sure, as long as it's in print." And they'll walk you through ordering it, and ship it right to your house. I got the last two books in the Dark Tower series that way.

      Do you like fighting games?
    17. Tatsunoboshi Horoko
The game looks great, don't get me wrong. It's like playing a weird lovechild of SF3 and MVC. But stuff like the "lol whoops these chars are too big lets just shrink everyone else" and some other issues here and there irk me slightly.

Casshern's moves are not really "lame." Quite the contrary, they are quite solid, but when you have characters like Karas and Polymer, he kind of goes under appreciated.

I've only seen a few, including the hilarious Tekkaman dub. (SPACE LANCE.) I actually tracked down the original versions of some of these anime later on in life (Gatchaman, Casshern, Yatterman, etc.) I was raised a geek, pretty much, so it was all shit I would see on VHS from contacts in Japan at the time.

I always sucked at parrying in SF3. But, for some reason, I was pretty decent at performing the Advancing Guards in JJBA because all you do is slam all three attack buttons at the same time while guarding normally.
    18. Tatsunoboshi Horoko
Too bad the scaling looks way off. I would have thought they would have tried to avoid such flubs, but whatever, only detail-obsessed fags let things like that bother them. (Hello.)

Well, I doubt anyone would/could sue anyone considering our current logo just rips off the YGO DM logo to a tee and no one has seemed to mind, so, yeah, haha.

Casshern would be cool (I was actually looking forward to playing with him,) but his move set seems completely white bread pedestrian in comparison to some of the other characters. Doronjo is fun to play as, though, as her moveset is something similar to Juda's from the HnK fighting game (minus the Psycho Crusher-esque OTK move, of course,) and it's always fun to play as Jun since I've liked her ever since I watched G-Force as a kid.

Another good thing about this game is the presence of Advancing Guards, which are a welcome addition. I don't use them as much as in JJBA, but they're good to have around.
    19. Tatsunoboshi Horoko
Yeah, one guy is essentially a more satanic offspring of No Face from Spirited Away.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is pretty fun. My friend hotwired his Wii so we could play it. You can basically do specials with a single button and the game is pretty much MvC2 minus any kind of strategy--just mash shit until something happens, repeat process until either is dead. I also like how chars shrink when the robot from Lost Planet and Gold Lightan are fighting. (Instead of making the chars bigger, they kept them the same size and shrunk the other chars down, so there are giant cars and street signs in the backgrounds of most stages.)

Also, he name of my fansub group is actually a play on Tatsunoko (Productions.) I even drew up a little logo that had a Dragon replaced with the seahorse and everything, but I don't ever think it was finished--Oh well.
    20. Tatsunoboshi Horoko
He's about the only interesting design in that game, though. The rest of the cast consists of a few copy/pastas from Guilty Gear with different gimmicks (Jin is a cheapass) and a few that are just...meh. I'll give it up to the girl who dual wields pistols like Dante's crackbaby niece on speed, though.

Ken's not so much invincible as much as the people playing with him think they're tough shit because they know how to do all of Ken's three moves. You usually have to go to the across the sea servers just to find someone who doesn't play Ken, Ryu, Akuma or Sagat. (I flipped my shit when I saw an Abel and a Balrog/Vega player for the first time.) But, hey, that's really just Street Fighter in general.
