Off the top of my head...

It supports Synchros

It only uses one window for the deck editing part, so you have that one window open and it changes to the duel field (unlike 8.6 which has 2 windows open)

The connecting options are a bit different, and that's explained more on the boards.

The 4 letter sets now work like the 3 letter sets did (that is, they are added to the deck easily and links to names of cards in 4 letter sets actually work >_>)

The entire interface looks cleaner, imo

Yea...it's kind of a pain in the ass though, since you have to get an account on the XeroCreative forums to use it.

Ah...yea I haven't really been on it either, but I'm using the pre-final Beta now...other than random connection problems in the beginning, it's ok.
